Senior strategy, innovation, change expertise
I bring more than 25 years of business experience in senior roles across strategy, innovation/design thinking, consumer insight, change and journalism. I spent many of these years in digital and tech, leading global app development for Nokia and consulting for organisations such as Vodafone, Orange, Tunstall, Hotels.com, Digital Catapult and Johnson & Johnson.

Many years working in consultancies and agencies have given me deep insight into how organisations work. I "get" what helps and hinders progress - and I understand the business imperatives.

Psychology, Behavioural Science & Coaching
I look to scientific findings to help people understand themselves and each other better.

This means bringing insights from psychology, neuroscience and beyond to my work. Depending on the task, I may look at how our tendencies to form in-and-out groups affect cross-team collaboration, how availability bias may cause you to make the wrong decisions, which heuristics to look out for and much more.
Better understanding fuels better collaboration and better decisions.

Energy, presence, attention and planning to unlock courage
Delivering effective, productive workshops is not just about what you do, but how you do it.

I bring energy and creativity to the sessions I run, with carefully thought-out schedules and activities to keep the 'volume' at the right level to hold attention. Strong, intuitive listening skills give me the flexibility to modify the pace when 'the room' needs it.
I encourage participants to get out of their comfort zone.

Here, I also draw on some of my personal interests - acting and improv.
