Self-nudging to go further

I've been wondering whether a simple question can help drive my outlook. So, I've added book-end curiosity nudges to my day. “What can I learn today?” in the morning, to seek out the new and look for learnings where I might see challenges and “What did I learn?” to reflect over what I picked up and can take with me. (I’ve got two even though I know I’m more likely to stick to the morning one. I’d quite like to reflect before sleeping, but I know I might not. That’s fine with me.)
Some things are obvious - the new steps in salsa class, the practice in my course on Communication in Conflict or the magical spark that can happen when coaching I’m someone. I want to notice, seek out and try out what’s beyond, too.
I heard something about how keeping a soft focus with full peripheral vision will change your posture when walking or running. That was easy to test. I can confirm it does, at least for me. More of this! And more testing and trying in general, to see if things work for me. But for me, the point of my prompts is also to get a bit further out of my comfort zone.

I have this hunch that a clear impetus to very actively seek learning will make me braver. If I keep it front-of-mind to choose to notice the learning, I believe I'll find it: in interactions, in actions, in those things that seem small, or those I can choose to wonder about, or try out. That, I imagine, will make steps that might seem uncomfortable into a exploration and an adventure, rather than a perceived risk.
What do you reckon? What prompts would you play with?
